Do I have Bedbugs?
Bed bugs are nocturnal and usually hiding which can make them hard to spot. These blood suckers often squeeze unnoticed in dark cracks and crevices, and the tiny eggs can be nestled in fabric seams. Other than bite symptoms, signs include fecal spots, blood smears on sheets, and molts. You may see just one bed bug or you may see several bundled together.
Generally bed bugs like to remain in close proximity to the person they are feeding on, commonly in or near beds. However, nesting locations are not always in beds. Bed bugs also nest on other furniture, luggage, vehicles, behind pictures, and around bedside clutter. Bed bugs may also nest near a pet that have been near nesting of bats, birds, rats, mice, squirrels, opossums, or other rodents.
Type of Bedbug Treatment
There is no “general” bedbug treatment. Each treatment is specific to the area and infestation. We use several types of bedbugs applications and a variety of products when performing a bed bug treatment. We will always begin each treatment with a detailed inspection of all common areas. If you think you may have bed bugs or have any questions regarding bedbugs, call our office. We will be happy to explain over the phone or send a licensed technician to your home or business for a formal inspection.
